Public Service Commitments
(UFCF) is a 501 C3 public foundation that was formed in 2014 to address our AfterSchool needs, OCPS graduation rates, the number of students attending college/vocational/technical schools, food insecurities, lack of affordable housing, job skill sets and reducing crime to name a few. The Foundation started to focus on early intervention, leading to prevention. To accomplish this end result it takes a village, that means partnering and uniting with local community and neighborhood organizations, to positively transform families and individuals, utilizing early intervention and educational resources.
ΑΦΑ develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities. Julien is a member of the fraternity through the Delta Xi Lambda (∆ ΞΛ) Chapter Seated in Orlando, Florida.
Julien served as the Chair for the Evans High School Leadership Council, a member of the Evans High School Leadership Cabinet, and the 2021 Reapportionment Advisory Committee
BOCS Seeks to utilize its resources to develop and encourage volunteerism. Working to perpetuate a culture of service on campus that will strengthen our resolve to be accountable as leaders, with the desire to be stewarts of positive social change. Home of the Emma & Joe Adams Scholarship Program, Corella and Bertram E. Bonner Scholarship Program, and UPS Community Scholars Program.
Partnership for Southern Equity’s Inaugural class of the Georgia Alliance for Boys and Men of Color’s Youth Advisory Council - is a passionate group focusing on combating systemic racism and social justice. Aimed at building out a policy platform to spark economic inclusion for boys and men of color.
SCSV is a Periclean program that encourages colleges and universities to develop innovative programs to engage voters in the election process. SCSV seeks to increase voter registration and voting by students and community members. SCSV fuels engaged citizenship by (1) sharing information and resources to encourage students and community members to be knowledgeable about candidates and important issues, (2) creating a space for dialogue, and (3) helping to register students and community members to vote.
A 501(c)4, non-profit volunteer advocacy and civic group to improve the quality of life of its citizens. As a membership organization, the council serves in a coordinating capacity among individuals, businesses, schools, churches, neighborhood associations, along with professional, service and social organizations, to actively advocate on behalf of local concerns and development.
Julien as the Founding President formed this group to establish to advise the center on its programming and bring valuable youth perspectives to the center. Advising for programs through shared decision-making to transform and create positive change in Orange County. Creating free youth-driven programming through workshops, training, and community outreach focuses on topics such as but not limited to financial literacy, drug/violence prevention, job preparedness, the importance of voter education, and the importance of knowing our rights
